Quasar completes installation of independent backup thermal system
Quasar completed installation of a high efficiency, Liebert thermal backup system. The backup system allows Quasar to upgrade the primary system and achieve Tier III capability per the TIA-942 data center standard. Quasar has redundant underground power supplies, dual network switches and mission critical routers as well as off-site backup and business continuity solutions for all mission critical applications and data. “This is a huge step for Quasar because of the added redundancy and higher efficiency systems that lowers our operations cost. The improved thermal reliability and cost savings are attractive features for our customers,” states Brenda Peters, Quasar’s President.
